Wildcats, Knights Back in OHSAA Title Game; What Did John Legend and Dee Miller Say About Cats?

 With the OHSAA State Football Season coming to a close, here are the local teams who still have a chance to win a title.

Springfield (D-1) 


The Wildcats turned a #12 seed into a magical run, knocking off the likes of familiar foes such as Wayne and Centerville along the way. The Cats will face a familiar foe in Lakewood St Edward, who boast a college ready offensive line. 

The Cats lost to  St. Edward the last two years. Is thw 3rd tine a charm?

John Legend Speaks To Cats Football

The Springfield game starts at 730pm tonight  at the Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.  


ALTER (D-4) 

ROLLING AS THEY FACE GLENVILLE 

The Alter Knights have shown that when you get hot at the riight time nobody can stop you. 

After a tough loss to Badin later in the season, they dominated their oppents, putting a exclamation point with a shutout win over Steubenville last week. Steubenville is a team who took a ring or two away from Alter in the late 2000s.  

Alter will face Glenvelle, who is coached by the legendary coach Tedd Ginn Sr. himself. 

Both teams are 13-2 so far this season. 

The game will start at 730 on Saturday night.
