Howard, Making Memories Golf Classic Raises Over 33K For Alzheimers
by Deon Cash
Cedric Howard, one of the top Philanthropists in Ohio, has done it again.
The 9th Annual Making Memories Golf Classic had a amazing turnout, with over 160 golfers attending the annual event recently. The event was held at the Walnut Grove Country Club in Dayton, Ohio.
And make no mistake, Howard is very appreciative of the support.
Making Memories raised over 33k for Alzheimers which made it one of the highest donated events in Dayton in 2023.
The exact amount was 33,428.00.
"We are so blessed to have the support from our golfers, our staff, the sponsors and donors, The Dayton Foundation, and everyone else who is in the fight for a cure for Alzheimers." Howard stated.
With a schedule that starts at 6am for the event, Howard knows his team is second to none.
"I want to give a special thanks to the Making Memories staff, who helped make this event special. Without them this would not be possible.
Howard would say after the event at the Check Presentation at The Dayton Foundation.
The event would start at 8am. Despite a little drizzle early, the bad weather held off and the golfers were able to get in a good round of golf.
The event ended around 5pm and included awards, breakfast and lunch and honored some great raffle prizes as well.
With special guest speakers such as Ron Todd, Mayor Jeffrey J Mims and other esteemed public figures, great messages were divulged during the closing ceremonies.
